The following lesson plans can be utilized by teachers who are reading The Shaman’s Dreamstone in their classrooms. The lesson plans consist of Chapter Questions and Vocabulary Words, Journal Responses and Extension Activities. These exercises compliment the content of the novel and serve to help with the student’s knowledge and understanding of the story as well as developing their thinking, inquiry and communication skills. Students are also encouraged to apply their knowledge of the novel to their own world and lives.
